Clax Frackers

Prep: 12 minutes Cook: 2 hours Total: 2 hours, 12 minutes

 Makes ~15-20 crackers

 What is Needed:

  • ¾ Cup Flax Seed (Ground or Whole)

  • ¼ Cup Chia Seeds

  • 1 Teaspoon Garlic Salt

  • ¾ Water

What to Do:

  1. Preheat oven to 250 degrees (electric stove-top).

  2. Combine all ingredients into medium-sized bowl, stir lightly, let sit for 8-10 minutes.

  3. Stir the mixture – it should be a thick, sticky consistency.

  4. Spread the mixture evenly on a 9” x 13” sheet pan (preferably non-stick pan).

  5. Place into oven and bake for 1 hour (60 minutes).

  6. Remove from oven. With spatula, flip the cracker sheet over and place back into the oven to bake for another hour (60 minutes).

  7. Remove from oven and let cool.

How to Finish:

  1. Break cracker sheet into smaller, individual pieces.

  2. Enjoy plain or with your favorite dip/toppings!!

*Recipe works to favor your sweet tooth – substitute cinnamon & stevia (or erythritol) for the garlic salt*
